Project Life 2014 | Week One

Week One is in the books! I've decided to run my weeks from Monday to Sunday in order to keep the weekend days together. That means that this week was a little wonky. I decided to have one spread for December 30-31, then a New Year's Eve party page, then the remainder of Jan 1-5 on one page.

I started the Dec 30-31 page off with a T. S. Eliot quote that seemed to fit in nicely.

"For last year's words belong to last year's language
and next year's words await another voice
and to make an end is to make a beginning."
- T.S. Eliot
Page 2 is of our New Year's Eve celebration. What... doesn't everyone have a full-blown disco in their basement? This is my parent's home that I grew up in and yes, it does have a bonafide disco in the basement complete with dance floor, mirrorball, 2 turntables and yes... a microphone. I had some fun with this layout and used some bright neon colors that I've never been able to find a use for until now.
And the third and final page for Week One:

There we have it! I will be attempting to post the previous weeks layout on Fridays in 2014. I decided I needed to apply a deadline to myself in order to try to stay up-to-date. We'll see how well that goes.

Feel free to link up to your Week One layout in the comments!
