Project Life | Week Fifteen

Week Fifteen. The week in which I turned old. OK, that's a bit dramatic, but 40 sounds old. At least it did to me all my life until
this week. I'm entering 40 in a good place. Working out more, happy child, awesome husband. 40 ain't so bad so far.
For week 15, I used Stephanie Adams "Downpour" collection from her newly launch shop. I was given this kit as a RAK from The Pocket Source. I fell in love with the colors and coordinating flair. Everything is perfection. I can see using this kit over and over again (and have saved a few Easter cards for next week!). The "Downpour" bundle is on sale right now for just $8.75 (normally $17.50). I mean... look how cute!

For the gold "40" I used the Silhouette brand printable Gold Foil that I purchased last year to use in my December Daily album. Honestly, I can't even remember if I did end up using any of it then. But, this stuff is fun! As the name suggests, you can print on it, too! I just did a straight cut out on the Cameo though. I used a few of the cork embellishments from Studio Calico's March Kit "Office Hours".

And another QR code. I love to include these things. And now Matilda thinks every QR code we see out in the world is a link to a video of her. She's so vain. ;) And with that I'm done! Love being caught up!

  1. Just gorgeous Melissa!!! And yes you are an enabler, as guess what I am about to go and check out, and more than likely buy!??! Happy belated birthday!! Turning 40 is no where near as bad as we think it is - I did it last year and I have to admit its been a damn good year so far... Lots of new adventures, friends and experiences!! I think its the new 30!!!

  2. I love it Melissa, and yes I have purchased too!! So much inspiration from your pages - thank you for sharing.

  3. I seriously love all of your layouts! They are so bright and the bits and pieces work with the photos instead of competing with them.

    1. Aw, that's so kind. Thanks for stopping by!
